A pretty antique Victorian locket ring from the late 19th Century featuring a heart shaped locket at the front, topped with a pearl studded forget me not.
An old German tale tells of two lovers walking by a river. After picking a bouquet of blue flowers for his loved one the man fell into the river and was swept away – crying out “Forget me not” before he vanished. These beautiful flowers have been known by this name ever since and are a powerful symbol of enduring love and remembrance.
The piece is all 9ct gold with a secure catch and room to insert a small photograph within. It’s in excellent condition and would make a perfect gift for a loved one.
